Our design team was given the task of re-modelling an old unit at Hougang to give it a new lease of life. To give the space a new and unique reconstruction, we extended the kitchen dry area into the common area. The kitchen had a narrow floor plan, hence our team decided to split the wet and dry areas of the kitchen using a glass divider while keeping to the original white based quartz finish. This allowed us to maximise the kitchen space.
A feature wall in geometric design was created to conceal the doorway of the kitchen store. White subway tiles were used on one side of the wall to give the kitchen more character. Our design team emphasized on grey tones against light wood to highlight a modern Scandinavian atmosphere.
Our team deconstructed the wall between the master-bedroom and the adjoining room to combine the functions of a walk-in wardrobe, work station and resting area. The entrance to the master bathroom was also re-orientated to serve the main functions of the combined room. Details were meticulously thought of and executed with precision.
